Hey yall! Today I got to thinking about a person who has been really influencial to me over the past few years (& it's not just any person). I've talked before about how my favorite singer is Stephen Jerzak, & he has made such an impact on my life over the past 3 & a half years. I was first introduced to his music by my friend Morgan Graham. It was June right before my senior year of high school during a weekend vacation that our families & their CB club take together. She showed me his cover of "My First Kiss" by 3OH!3. From that point, we watched his music video for "Cute" & other videos he had posted. Let's just say I was hooked from the start! I remember the funniest moment of that night was when Morgan's grandma walked into the room & was asking what in the world he was singing. The next morning she was telling everyone at breakfast that we were watching a video & the guy was singing "this is the way I kiss" (wrong lyrics btw but it was hilarious to hear her take on the song). Ever since that night, I have loved his music. I tweeted earlier that it was amazing to see how far he has come musically, & it's so true! I started out seeing long-haired, 17 at the time, Stephen doing covers & making his first music video to him creating a pop album with a signed label to doing songs with Cady Groves, Leighton Meester, My Genuine Find, Jamestown Story, Romance on a Rocketship, & Dylan Lloyd. The first online purchase I ever bought was his zombie shirt (which I still wear as a sleep shirt, holes & all), & if that isn't dedication then I don't what is! I feel like I know him almost on a personal level, even though we have never even met & he only knows who I am because I tweet at him all the time & I tweet his sister, mom, & best friend (Dylan). I can proudly say that I have been a part of Team Jerzak from almost the beginning. His music just keeps getting better as he gets older. From 17 - 21, Stephen has always been the same guy he has always been, & it's all because of his fans. I hope that I can meet him one day, but for now I am okay with just listening to his music & watching his videos & live chats.
